I met Emily while we were both working in Niagara on the Lake, I was in the office suite upstairs, and she was downstairs. After a few chance meetings in our favourite spots around town, and one beautiful winter night spent talking for hours sipping on teas, we became inseparable. She is the kindest, most compassionate person I have ever met. Emily also knows me better than I know myself, and knows how to make me laugh during any moment.
Emma, has been with me since I was a teenager. She has been my best friend and longest partnership, 10 years and counting. Emma is a complete reflection of myself, everything good… and everything mischievous! She has made more dreams come true then I ever could have imagined possible, and taught me the foundations of all partnerships, with people and horses.
These two together are my Em & Em, and are the sweetest pair.
Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixèd mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth’s unknown, although his height be taken.
Love’s not Time’s fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle’s compass come:
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.
