The ultimate goal the day of your portrait session with me is to breathe, laugh, smile and have fun. Horses are beautiful, intellgient and powerful animals, who don’t always play by our rules. They can amaze us, inspire us, save us when we miss a distance but then there are times when they are massive goofballs! Even the most bombproof horse will decide to have a little fun during our portrait session. I share this with you, not so that you are nervous but so you know you are not alone, it’s common – and I know this going into our session. My ability to work with you and your horse is what separates an Equestrian Photographer from any other type of photographer.
I know how badly you want beautiful, timeless photos with your horse that are worthy of being wall art in your home. As long as you breathe, smile and take it all in stride, we will capture those moments. I promise, we will get through it and you will have a gorgeous piece of wall art in your home!
My session with Praneetha and her mare Annie was one of those dream-come-true evenings where everyone and everything came together so wonderfully! Praneetha was so comfortable in front of my camera, her dress was perfect, the sunset was incredible, and Annie was beautifully prepared.
Praneetha’s friends Kristen and Presley were phenomenal at working with Annie to keep her calm and collected. Of course, that doesn’t mean there weren’t moments along the way where we couldn’t believe what unfolded and then regrouped before taking more portraits… and yet you would never know looking at the photos!
